The high-speed dome camera is a highly integrated product that combines a pan-tilt system, a communication system and a camera system. The pan-tilt system refers to the motor-driven rotating part; the communication system is responsible for motor control and image & signal processing; and the camera system consists of an integrated camera core.
The core technical challenges of high-speed dome cameras mainly focus on three key components: the integrated zoom camera core, the precision stepper motor and the high-reliability transmission slip ring. High-speed dome cameras are capable of 360° unrestricted continuous rotation with a rotational speed of over 250~360°/s, demanding high operation speed, stable running and accurate positioning.
A high-quality conductive slip ring is a crucial guarantee for high-speed dome cameras to transmit video and control signals accurately while rotating 360° horizontally continuously. On the other hand, the slip ring section of high-speed dome cameras also needs to transmit a large volume of video data, as well as control signals and other trigger signals. Therefore, stability, reliability, service life and transmission rate are the most critical performance indicators for conductive slip rings applied in high-speed dome cameras for security monitoring.
The special slip rings for high-speed dome cameras produced by Huasheng Electric via automated manufacturing feature a compact structure and a maintenance-free modular design. The brush wires and ring tracks of the slip rings are made of rare precious metal materials with military-grade surface treatment technology, and adopt the industry’s innovative three-level super-hard gold plating process that realizes low wear and corrosion resistance, eliminating the phenomenon of powder accumulation caused by brush wire friction. With a dynamic resistance variation of <0.005Ω, the slip rings meet the transmission requirements of ultra-large capacity and ultra-high speed RF and image signals, and have a service life of up to 30 million revolutions—far exceeding that of high-speed dome cameras of major brands. This ensures a high signal-to-noise ratio, lossless encoded data transmission and precise control signal delivery.
